The successful drug operation takedown was made possible by the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission and their recently formed task force, the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crime Task Force.

The task force assisted in a Wheelersburg raid in January, where law enforcement discovered 131 grams of fentanyl, 77 grams of meth, two firearms, digital scales, a large amount of Gabapentin, a large amount of liquid Methadone, and $3,159 in cash.
At the time of the raid, law enforcement arrested three local residents, including Rocky Johnson, age 56, Christina Barnes, age 38, and Beverly Charles, age 65. Each suspect was charged with numerous drug possession and trafficking charges as well as felony weapons possession charges for their roles in the Wheelersburg area drug operation.
