Local Drug Busts or Events
In September 2023, significant legal action took place regarding drug trafficking and gun violence in Seattle, Washington. A 30-year-old Seattle man has been sentenced to a five-year term in federal prison. This sentence comes after his guilty plea for drug trafficking activities while armed at the heart of Seattle's downtown area, specifically at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street. U.S. District Judge James L. Robart emphasized the grim realities of drug overdoses and gun violence plaguing society. Acting U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman pointed out the critical nature of keeping areas like 3rd and Pine and 12th and Jackson safe from the threats of fentanyl.
The arrest followed an incident where the man sold fentanyl pills to an undercover officer and was found in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, a significant amount of cash, and a loaded handgun. This arrest was part of a concerted effort involving multiple agencies, including the City of Seattle, the Seattle Police Department, the King County Sheriff's Office, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and the U.S. Attorney's Office of Western Washington.

To say Louis went above and beyond would be the understatement of the year!! :) I was escaping an abusive marriage and my husband took out kids. I had a hearing that a desperately needed a drug screen for in order to get my children back. I was in a panic and he took the time to calm me down and get it all set up and taken care of. When a freak accident happened and my sample was spilled during shipment to the lab...again there was Louis to the rescue!! I called feeling defeated but he made it right! No exaggeration I had not even pulled out of the parking lot and Louis called me to let me know he had my results Said to call him back if I needed to. I will never forget my experience.
