Portal does not appear to allow selection of 10 drugs plus alcohol urine test (Quest FormFox). You make it easy to locate a collection site in remote oil field locations.

Daniel Benito Martinez, a Roswell-area native, was described as "funny" and "comedic." He was also a troubled man with multiple arrests for crimes including drug offenses. Martinez died in January 2022 from a drug overdose and his family is now committed to awareness and fundraising efforts. Their goal is to ensure more people understand the value of 211, a number residents can call to receive general community information including addiction and substance abuse treatment resources.
Martinez's sister, Loretta Huerta, says that she wants people to have better access to information and to know that "there is hope" and "that you can recover and are worth it."
Police Efforts to Reduce Drug Problems in Roswell
In June 2022, the New Mexico High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Program (NM HIDTA) received national recognition for its work dismantling a drug trafficking organization that had been using Roswell as a hub. This organization was allegedly transporting large amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine from Mexico into southeastern New Mexico and other parts of the United States. The bust was part of an organized effort known as Operation Shape Shifter.
Dr. Rahul Gupta, director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) announced the recognition, thanking those participating in the program for "working every day to keep our communities healthy and safe."
Notable Events Related to Drug Use in Roswell
The streets of New Mexico are a bit safer following the seizure of several pounds of lethal illegal drugs. The seizure occurred after a female driver from Roswell was pulled over and her vehicle was searched. During the search, a hidden compartment was found under the floorboards. Inside, officers found more than five pounds of fentanyl and 10 pounds of methamphetamine. The estimated street value of the drugs was $577,000. The woman was taken to jail and booked for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
