I kind of grumbled a bit about the cost. You guys are higher priced than what the other occupational health people used to charge me. I can make just one comment in regards to my grumbling. You get what you pay for. The service was excellent, being constantly updated by text and email as each step in the testing process was done, was awesome. Notable Historical Events Related to Drug Use in Olympia, WA
In December 2022, a traffic stop in Olympia resulted in an arrest for a weapons violation and led Olympia police to a drug bust. The vehicle was stopped for not having a licensed plate, and authorities noticed brass knuckles inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested, and a search of the vehicle led to the seizure of multiple drugs. Inside the vehicle, Olympia police found 597 fentanyl pills, 12.25 grams of methamphetamine, 39.22 grams of powdered fentanyl, $6,214 in cash, two scales, two Xanax bars, and small baggies. The driver was charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Government Efforts to Address Drug Problems in Olympia, WA and Thurston County
The Thurston County Narcotics Task Force works to reduce drug trafficking, manufacturing, and distribution of illegal drugs in Olympia and Thurston County. The task force works with the Thurston County Prosecutor's Office, Homeland Security Investigations, US Marshal's Service, Thurston County Sheriff's Office, Washington State Patrol, Washington State Department of Community Corrections, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to dismantle drug trafficking organizations.
