Following a multi-agency investigation, in March 2022, a Modesto resident with ties to the Hells Angels motorcycle group pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The investigation found that a 35-year-old man had been involved in a drug trafficking conspiracy that Hells Angels President Randy Picchi led. Pack faces a mandatory minimum of 5 years in prison and a $5 million fine but could be sentenced to up to 40 years in prison.
Local Police Efforts to Address Drug Problems in Modesto
Individuals with substance abuse problems in Modesto may be able to turn their lives around thanks to Stanislaus County's Drug Court program. This collaborative 12 to 18-month program involves the district attorney, judge, public defender, and probation officer working together to help offenders lead productive lives and reduce recidivism.
