Two Long Beach men were arrested after authorities discovered a stockpile of narcotics worth over $1.5 million. The investigation, which aimed at cracking down on drug importation and distribution throughout Ventura County, brought to light the involvement of fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine.
Authorities executed search warrants at the residences of the suspects and a vehicle upholstery shop, where they uncovered ammunition, drugs, and other paraphernalia. The investigation revealed the use of the upholstery shop as a front for his drug operations, including storage, packaging, and distribution activities.
During the search, law enforcement officials found a semi-automatic firearm, a large amount of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and heroin, along with cutting agents and packaging materials. Additionally, they found and seized multiple firearms, cash, and vehicles believed to be used in the commission of these crimes.
The operation led to the confiscation of around 33 pounds of black tar heroin, 2.2 pounds of fentanyl, one pound of methamphetamine, counterfeit M30 pills containing fentanyl, six firearms, and a significant amount of cash believed to be drug sales revenue, cumulatively valued at over 1.5 million dollars. Both suspects were charged with narcotic and firearm offenses and booked into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility, later securing release on bail pending further court proceedings.
