Washington man arrested for dealing drugs and possessing firearms

A Washington man was arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison and five years supervised release. Police found thousands of fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin in his storage trailer in Kent in addition to dozens of firearms. Police said that the distribution of these drugs affected too many lives in King County, and they are relieved that they were able to arrest the man after six months of investigation.

The U.S. Attorney stated that the opioid deaths involving fentanyl more than doubled in King County from 2020 to 2021, and it is important to stop the trafficking of these highly addictive and potent drugs. The Washington man was indicted federally in 2021, and two months later, he pleaded guilty.
