Riverside County Sheriff's Department arrested a 59-year-old man for possessing methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl. The man was a convicted felon who was out on bail, and authorities believe he had the intention to sell these substances.
When authorities searched the man's vehicle, they found two pounds of methamphetamine. Another search of his residence uncovered about 580 fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, heroin, and ammunition. The man was taken to Indio's John J. Benoit Detention Center on a $150,000 bail.
