In July of 2021 in Adams County, an investigation led to four arrests and the seizure of illicit drugs, guns, and cash. The Adams County Sheriff's Office received a tip of a large shipment of illegal narcotics being shipped to a location already under investigation. Officers obtained a search warrant, where they seized more than 20 pounds of cocaine, over three pounds of heroin, nine pounds of methamphetamine, about 40,000 fentanyl pills, two handguns and four long guns, hand grenades, body amour, a homemade silencer, and $113,000 in cash.
In April of 2022, the Adams County Sheriff's Office was part of a large task force that executed a large drug bust in Adams County. The Drug Enforcement Agency, Colorado State Patrol and NMDTF seized five pounds of methamphetamine, 60,000 fentanyl tablets, cocaine and heroin, and arrested several people.
Community Efforts to Address Drug Problems in Henderson, CO
