In March 2023, a 39-year-old Granite City man was charged with trafficking and possessing methamphetamine and counterfeiting $100 bills. The man brought 15-100 grams of methamphetamine into the state and intended to deliver.
In October 2022, a Granite City man faced drug charges for bringing in drugs from Missouri to Illinois in September of that year. The man brought under 15 grams of fentanyl with the intent to deliver and possessed one gram or more of methamphetamine. In July and August 2022, he delivered amphetamines and fentanyl to confidential informants. A 33-year-old woman at the same address also faced possession charges after possessing less than five grams of methamphetamine.
