Drug bust in Gainesville: Man arrested for a multi-million dollar drug raid
A man from Gainesville was arrested and charged with multiple counts of trafficking and possessing cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and psilocybin mushrooms. Investigators found eight kilograms of methamphetamine and 20 kilograms of liquid methamphetamine, plus items used for crystallizing the liquid meth. The value of these products on the streets is about $2.8 million.
Investigators also tied the man to a drug seizure at a storage facility where they found about 600 grams of methamphetamine, 199 grams of heroin, 60 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and 20 grams of cocaine, worth about $122,000.
