In May of 2021, a Clackamas County man was sentenced to 10 years in prison and three years' supervised release for distributing illegal narcotics around the Portland Metropolitan area. Investigators completed several controlled buys from the man's residence. In December of 2019, a search warrant was executed on his home. One kilogram of methamphetamine, 150 grams of heroin, and approximately 35 pounds of marijuana were seized during the search warrant. Officers also found a .38 caliber revolver in his vehicle, along with drug packaging materials, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and a stun gun. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
In October 2016 in Clackamas County, police made one of the largest methamphetamine drug busts in county history. Portland Police and the Clackamas County Interagency Task Force finished their investigation on a drug trafficking organization on October 12, 2016. Officers seized enough methamphetamine to equate to a street value of about $500,000. Two men were arrested on multiple charges.
In 2021, five teenagers were arrested for using a Snapchat video to advertise the sale of bags of small blue pills that contained fentanyl. Undercover investigators arranged to meet the teens and showed interest in purchasing their pills. The five teens were arrested with no incidence.
