Betlehem, Pennsylvania: Drug abuse trends

Bethlehem is located in Northampton County, which recorded 86 drug overdose deaths in 2021. To enhance their potency and increase the sales profit, fentanyl is often laced into other drugs like heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana. Since people who use these drugs may not be aware that they have been laced with fentanyl, the risk of unintentional overdose is much higher.
