Methamphetamine was involved in 49 percent of all overdose fatalities, heroin was involved in 34 percent, and fentanyl in 29 percent of overdose deaths.
A lieutenant from Bend, Oregon, reported that they had seen a significant peak in fentanyl and heroin, especially in the last two years. The man was booked into jail and charged with possession of cocaine and the attempt to deliver the controlled substance.
