Notable Historical Events Related to Drug Use in Alameda, CA

In June 2022, Alameda County police made a large drug bust, seizing 30.4 pounds of fentanyl, one pound of methamphetamine, six ounces of crack cocaine, and an AR-15 ghost gun.

In February 2023, Alameda County officers made another drug bust, uncovering a fentanyl manufacturing operation. Authorities seized 23 pounds of powdered fentanyl, 168 grams of methamphetamine, 9.7 grams of cocaine base, and 2,516 counterfeit fentanyl M30 pills. They also obtained evidence of fentanyl manufacturing, including molds, kilogram presses, cutting agents, and other paraphernalia.
