Baltimore Sun - Mobile DNA Testing
Everyone stopped by the Who's Your Daddy DNA Testing RV in Baltimore, MD, Police officers, bank workers, court officers, and even a judge stopped by Health Street's mobile DNA testing truck to share their enthusiasm for Health Street's mobile initiative to bring access to paternity tests directly to the community.
Health Street has been taking the Who's Your Daddy truck to Baltimore monthly, conducting DNA tests for individuals, and on-site drug testing for companies. But on this trip, the weather was warm, and the lunchtime crowd was even warmer.
We spoke to a lot of people who had serious issues that had been unresolved for years, including a man who raised 3 kids, one of which he found was not really his biological daughter … on her 18th birthday. I say it all the time: "there's just something about the truck….."
It breaks down people's normal inhibitions about speaking on this topic, and the stories just start to flow. The Baltimore community proved this yet again.
After spending a few hours in the downtown area, Rawle (my logistics wizard) and I cruised over to the Inner Harbor to let the tourists take some photos. It was a lot of fun (til we got kicked out of our parking spot).
We made it out of there just before the terrential downpours of the afternoon, making the 4 hour trip back to NYC turn into a 6 and a half hour journey. See you next month, Baltimore.
Until then, we have clinics all around the area for all your paternity testing needs!
